About 2 hours drive from the Moroccan coast\u00a0lies the completely walled city of Marrakech, amid thousands of palm trees and with the contours of the Atlas Mountains in the background. The city was founded in 1602 and the best artisans came from Spanish Andalusia to help with the construction and decorations. There is so much to see such as magnificent palaces, interesting museums and colourful gardens. There are fantastic restaurants where you can eat in a magical Moroccan atmosphere. The surroundings offer good possibilities for excursions such as a visit to the Atlas Mountains or to the coast.<\/p>\n
