Vietnam, a long-stretched out country, has a beautiful coastline, green mountains, breath-taking national parks, delicious food and a wonderful culture. The people here are energetic, friendly and open, and with the addition of the seven UNESCO World Heritage sites, you have a country that will leave an unforgettable impression on you!<\/p>\n

The country stretches out between the impressive cities of Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, our favorite city in Asia. The old town was built in the traditional 19th and 20th century architectural style and has been exceptionally well preserved. Both the buildings and the street plans reflect indigenous and foreign influences. The Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi<\/a> was built in French colonial style and is located in the heart of the city, with Hoan Kiem Lake and Opera House within walking distance.<\/p>\n

The north of Vietnam offers beautiful landscapes with rice terraces, colorful mountain locals and of course well known Halong Bay. A multi-day boat journey<\/a> through the Bay of Tonkin sailing by some 1,600 islands, is considered one of the highlights of a visit to Vietnam.<\/p>\n

The journey continues south to Hu\u00e9, which was the capital of Vietnam in 1802. The city is particularly beautiful with the Perfume River meandering through the building complex where the Forbidden Purple City is located. This requires a journey by boat, but you can also take the bike to go exploring.<\/p>\n

To the south of Hu\u00e9 lies the Bay of Lang Co, known for its pristine beach, tropical jungle, rugged mountain tops and eco-diversity. The Banyan Tree Lang Co<\/a> offers villas and has an extensive water sports center making it a good base for visiting Hu\u00e9 and Hoi An.<\/p>\n

Hoi An, also a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a beautiful example of a traditional trading port that has been exceptionally well preserved.\u00a0 In this charming coastal town you can immerse yourself in a mix of history, culture and beach life. The Four Seasons Resort The Nam Hai<\/a> is located on a pristine beach, a 15-minute drive from the center.<\/p>\n

The journey ends at the economically most important and also largest city of Ho Chi Minh City, formerly known as Saigon. This lively city is very busy, but not noticeable from the Park Hyatt.<\/a> South of former Saigon, the Mekong Delta with the Azerai Can Tho<\/a> is a good base for boat trips across the Mekong and bicycle trips. From there you can continue on by boat via Chau Doc to Cambodia<\/a>.<\/p>\n

A 45-minute flight from Ho Chi Minh City will bring you to the Con Dao Islands, perhaps the most beautiful island group in Vietnam. The Six Senses Con Dao<\/a> offers tranquility, a beautiful beach, the best diving and snorkeling spots and many other activities, therefore suitable for the entire family.<\/p>\n
