Senegal is still relatively undiscovered, but has a lot to offer its visitors. A wonderful climate, beautiful nature and good cuisine, with lots of fresh fish. Thanks to Youssou N’Dour, many people have already become acquainted with the wonderful music from Senegal. Senegal is suitable for a round trip, an adventurous family vacation, a surfing vacation or a beach stay.

Senegal is easy to reach with a flight via Paris. The capital Dakar is a typical African colorful capital with many markets and some excellent hotels including Radisson Blu, which is located by the sea. Then the journey along the coast goes south. About 80 km south of Dakar is Saly, the largest beach resort in West Africa with golf (18 holes), horse riding, fishing, tennis and various water sports.

It offers beautiful sandy beaches and rhinos, crocodiles, zebras and antelopes live in the nearby Bandia Reserve. Le Lamantin Beach Resort is the best hotel here and is located directly on a beautiful beach,  bordering the sacred forests of Bandia. There is a large swimming pool that is heated in the winter months as well as a harbor from where the boats depart. The 145 rooms are located in the main building or in the garden.

Les Collines de Niasam Lodge is located in an enchanting spot 150 km from Dakar near the village of Palmarin among centuries-old Baobab trees. This small-scale hotel consists of cabins located in the Sine Saloum Delta where you can take a boat trip through the mangroves. It features special family rooms and a private swimming pool.

Hotel Les Palétuviers is located in the middle of the authentic village of Toubacouta, between the savannah and the Sine Saloum Delta. The cabins are built from natural materials and there is a swimming pool. In addition, there is also a special possibility to sleep on the beach. Multiple activities and excursions are offered.

Club Med is located in Cap Skirring on the sea, surrounded by a beautiful palm forest. There is a typical African atmosphere and there are many opportunities for sports during the holidays. You can play golf, sail or play tennis, among other things. The Club Med can be reached with a Transavia charter flight from Paris.
