Our 16-day Rajhastan Journey is a relaxed tour through the highlights of North India, at a leisurely pace with time to enjoy the atmospheric hotels. The journey starts in Delhi and there after a visit to Agra follows. The Taj Mahal, the petrified Ode to Love is one of the Seven Wonders of the World and the best hotel here is the Oberoi Amarvilas.

Then travel by car with a private driver and journey to the cities of Rajasthan with overnight stays in atmospheric palace hotels.
Ramathra Fort is more than 350 years old and is a special accommodation from which you can explore Ranthambore National Park Tiger Park.
A rural journey leads to Jaipur and an overnight stay in the historic Samode Haveli hotel is recommended. Then the journey continues “off the beaten track” to the desert cities of Bikaner and Jaisalmer, where there is so much to see. Visit the impressive fort in Jodhpur and get to know the Bishnoi tribe. The journey continues via the temples of Ranakpur to Shahpura Bagh, a beautiful place for a stopover on the way to Udaipur. Finally, the oasis town of Udaipur, located on a lake in which the world famous Lake Palace Hotel floats. Take a romantic boat trip over the lake during sunset and enjoy watching the beautiful palaces on the shore turn pink.

This tour can be extended with a stay on the beaches of Goa, a former Portuguese colony with historic houses. India’s most famous resort has unspoiled beaches and our favorite is Ahila by the Sea.

India has an age-old tradition, Ayurveda, the oldest and best-known Hindu health theory and focuses on restoring the balance between body and mind. The state of Kerala is the birthplace of this health doctrine and here you can stay to the Coconut Lagoon Resort or the Somatheeram Resort. For exclusively yoga and wellness, head to the mountainous north, where the spa town of Ananda in the Himalayas.
