The largest peninsula of the country is called the Peloponnese and this area offers a wide variety of stunning cultural treasures of antiquity. A great holiday destination in which you can combine a beach stay with an introduction to the Greek cultural heritage. The Peloponnese was an important center of cultural developments in the Mediterranean for four thousand years. And in every part of the peninsula there are historical sites dating since antiquity.
Our 8-day fly & drive is based on charming hotels and lodging and starts in Athens. Next to a visit to the impressive Acropolis, visit the National Archaeological Museum, the largest archaeological museum in the country. By rental car continue your journey to Nafplion with the famous amphitheater of Epidaurus and the historic city of Mycenae. Then on to  Mystras and Mani and finally the journey ends on the west side of the Peloponnese.
