In the north of Portugal, it is possible to sleep undisturbed among the vineyards in combination with unique design, gastronomy, sports activities and spa treatments. Oporto is the perfect base for a cruise on the Douro River, arguably one of the world’s finest vineyards and nature reserves as well as a UNESCO World Heritage site. The Six Senses Douro Valley is one of the most well known places to stay in the north of the country.
